Chinese "ziji" has three usages: emphasis, general reference and anaphora. As anaphora,It can be subject, attributive or object.Based on HSK Dynamic Composition Corpus, this thesis investigates the acquisition of "ziji" by Japanese students. This thesis is divided into four chapters: Chapter 1 is the introduction.Chapter 2 studies the Japanese students' grasp of various usages of the Chinese "ziji",and Chapter 3 analyzes the wrong example sentences.Combining with the research in chapter 2 and 3,we draw the following conclusions:(1)General reference: The level of Japanese students' Chinese learning is negatively correlated with the frequency of expressing truth and positively correlated with the frequency of empathy usage. The most common mistake is misuse.(2)Emphasis: When "ziji" is used as an adverbial,it has a positive correlation with Japanese students' Chinese learning level, and a negative correlation when it is used as an appositive. The most common mistake is misuse.(3)Object reference: Example sentence ordering: Sentence reference > Governing Category > Hyper sentential anaphora.Japanese students at the elementary level tend to overuse long distance reference.Correctness rate ordering: Hyper sentential anaphora > Governing Category> Sentence reference. The most common mistake is misuse.(4)Subject reference:The number of sentence reference ordering: sentence reference 3 > sentence reference 2 > sentence reference 1.Correctness rate ordering is the same as the number of sentence reference. The most common mistake is misuse and added unwanted syntactic components.(5)Attributive reference: Japanese students' Chinese level is positively correlated with the frequency of short-distance reference and negatively correlated with the frequency of long-distance reference.Japanese students choose to use short distance care,as opposed to native Chinese speakers. The most common mistake is misuse. In Chapter 4,we analyze the difficulty of Japanese students in acquiring "ziji".The order of difficulty is: Anaphora > Emphasis> General reference. As the anaphoric, the order from easy to difficult is: Attributive reference > Subject reference > Object reference. We also inspected several mainstream textbooks and made several suggestions for teaching Chinese as a foreign language and teaching Chinese as a foreign language. We also examined several frequently used textbooks and made several suggestions for textbooks and classroom teaching.
