Study On Dingjiafan Site

Dingjiafan site was found in the natural village of Dingjiafan,Yongqiao Village,Wanshan Town,Lujiang County,Anhui Province.The site is located in Jianghuai area,rich in water sources and superior geographical environment,and is an ideal place for people to survive.In 2018 and 2019,the archaeological team of Henan University and Nanjing University carried out two archaeological investigations and excavations of Dingjiafan site in Lujiang County in order to cooperate with the construction of the project.The site is composed of 5 large earth piers,which are Tuan pier,Chang pier,Moon pier,Sophora tree pier and Di Gong mouth pier.The relics unearthed in the site are rich in relics,including house sites,tombs,ash pits,stoves and pillar holes,etc.Stone tools,animal bones and so on,for the study of the Jianghuai area of the pier and platform type sites obtained a number of precious materials.In this paper,using the latest archaeological materials,the types and stages of pottery pots,pottery beans,pottery bowls and pottery pots unearthed in the site were studied.The cultural factors were analyzed.Based on the analysis of the settlement form,it is preliminarily speculated that the Dingjiafan site may be related to the maintenance of "Jin Dao Xi Hang" unblocked by the Western Zhou Dynasty and the Jingluo Jianghuai area.
