This paper is an economic text translation practice report,and the source text is based on The Integration of China's Big Data and Real Economy(2019),which was published by China Academy of Information and Communications Technology(CAICT).Nowadays,the development of big data technology is changing with each passing day,and gradually permeates every aspect of our life.The fast development of manufacturing,services and other kinds of real economy are inseparable from the support of big data technology.Therefore,the translation of this economic report plays an important role for learning the development of national economy.This report selects the first and third chapters of the source text for translation and analyzes the translation phenomena in the source text.There are five chapters in this report.Chapter one is an introduction,which consists of the research background,and the purpose and significance of the report.In the second chapter,the translator focuses on the task preparation,which includes description of the source text and target readers.The third chapter introduces the translation process from pre-translation preparation,translation tools and techniques and quality assurance at large.For pre-translation,the translator has a preparation of theory,references and a translation plan.In the fourth Chapter of case analysis,the translator analyzes translation phenomena and translation strategies existing in the source text from the lexical level,syntactic level and textual level.Finally,Chapter five is the conclusion that summarizes the translation practice and points out some problems to be resolved as well as expectation for the translation of similar text about big data and real economy.And this translation report takes Skopos theory as the theoretical basis in the translation practice from the beginning to the end.Through writing this translation report,the translator significantly improves her translation ability,and further enhances the ability in applying theories to practice.In addition,the translator accumulates and enriches the translation experience of similar texts.The unsolved problems in the translation process will also urge the author to continue to keep on the study of translation theory and professional knowledge.The translator hopes this report can encourage more people to pay attention to the current development of national economic and provide some references for the further translation of the text about the integration of big data and real economy.
