With the progress of TV communication technology and the expansion of time re sources,TV food programs have gradually become independent and developed under t he expansion and subdivision of life service programs.The development of TV food f estival has positive significance for TV programs and TV viewers.On the one hand,food TV programs have popularized a lot of food information to the audience,and h ave enriched the content of TV transmission.On the other hand,the service function and cultural transmission function carried by TV programs are also reflected.As TV programs continue to explore various possibilities,food programs are split into news,reality shows,variety shows,documentaries and other forms,which are all popular o n the screen.At present,many domestic television stations are aware of the great development potential of the TV food festival and are making an issue of food programs one after another.However,due to the late start and low threshold of food programs,coupled with the single program content,food programs have encountered serious homogenizati on,poor program viability and lack of extension influence.Food documentary represe nts the linkage effect between the popularity of "China on the tip of the tongue" and Taiwan's network,further expanding the diversified pattern of local food culture docu mentary and promoting the creation of the first gold-lettered signboard of food docum entary.This article chooses the most representative diet program "China on the tip of the tongue" as the research template,and according to the development of TV diet progr ams,analyzes the characteristic content of Chinese diet culture elements appearing in t he programs.This paper summarizes the characteristics of the cultural exchange of th e Central Plains diet and the originality of the program format,TV image composition and food value of TV media in various parts of China.Finally,on the basis of the above arguments,we put forward enlightening suggestions and reference routes for th e development of food programs and documentaries,hoping to help food programs an d documentaries improve their humanistic spirit and enrich their cultural significance i n the vertical field.
