Tea culture is one of the most intuitive ways to understand and express Chinese culture.Explaining tea culture in teaching Chinese as a foreign language helps learners to understand the connotation of Chinese culture in a deeper and wider way,and to train students to better understand the background of Chinese tea culture Ability to communicate skillfully in Chinese.This article selects the situational teaching method as the theoretical guidance,and integrates four ways of situational creation into the teaching design of Chinese tea culture for foreigners.On the basis of imparting knowledge of tea culture theory,the emphasis is placed on the cultivation of learners ability to express and practice,so as to improve the teaching effect and classroom efficiency of Chinese tea culture courses for foreigners.We believe that situational teaching has four characteristics: “formal”,“emotional”,"meaningful",and "idea".These four characteristics are interdependent,mutually reinforcing,and complementary.Through teaching Chinese tea culture to foreigners,it can effectively cultivate learners “aesthetic consciousness,arouse the learners emotional experience,broaden the learner's imagination space,and make the emotions in the sense,so as to achieve the teaching effect of the blending of emotion and reason.On this basis,we systematically examined the applicability of the situational teaching method to the teaching of Chinese tea culture for foreigners.It is necessary and feasible to apply the situational teaching method to the teaching of Chinese tea culture to foreigners.This teaching design takes representative teaching contents such as tea culture overview,basic knowledge,tea making skills(flower tea)as examples,and uses the methods of tea listening,poetry appreciation,incense rendering,group games,etc.to create a situation.Situational teaching method is cleverly applied to the teaching design of tea culture.We also reflect on and summarize this teaching,and make suggestions for the future tea culture teaching design.
