Vocabulary has always played a very important role in teaching Chinese as a foreign language.To a large extent,the level of students' Chinese proficiency depends on their vocabulary,and the size of vocabulary also has a great impact on whether students can express themselves in Chinese in a standardized way or not.Chinese is a semantic language,and its vocabulary has its theoretical basis.Therefore,the study of vocabulary teaching methods is also the focus of Chinese language teaching researchers.Situational teaching method is an advanced teaching concept centered on students' experience and learning interest.In current is widely used in many teaching,mainly on the basis of education teaching contents,goals,and combined with the actual situation of students,to create a vivid scenario that corresponds to real life,helps the student in the creation of scenarios for study,observation fish out problems,understand the problems and solve the problem.This process can effectively promote the student learning from surface to in depth study,especially in the mastery of vocabulary in a specific language environment,to achieve the best learning effect.This study selected the vocabulary of HSK(level 1-6),all the "wearable" verbs in HSK standard course 4(part 1)and HSK standard course 4(part 2)for analysis,and carried out careful instructional design.This paper discusses how to make a scientific and reasonable teaching plan and complete the teaching task with high quality delivery by using the situational teaching method,so as to improve the students' Chinese level.The thesis consists of six parts.1.The introduction mainly introduces the research background,significance,purpose and literature review.2.Overview of situational teaching method.This part mainly explains the connotation of situational teaching method,three theoretical bases and the characteristics of situational teaching method.3.Current situation of teaching Chinese as a foreign language.Twenty Chinese teachers and 130 foreign students at intermediate level were selected as the subjects of the survey.Firstly,the 20 Chinese teachers are introduced.Secondly,the paper analyzes the teaching status of Chinese comprehensive course from the student version and the teacher version.4.Analysis on the teaching design of intermediate Chinese vocabulary comprehensive course based on situational teaching method.This part mainly analyzes the teaching objectives,objects,class types,contents,scenes,props and strategies.5.Comprehensive teaching cases of intermediate Chinese vocabulary based on situational teaching method.This part mainly takes "wearables" as an example of instructional design.6.The conclusion part is the summary of this research,after discovering and analyzing the shortcomings of this research,and puts forward new prospects for future research.
