The material of this report is from a roadshow of the fifth Qingdao Mayor Cup contest of international SMEs' innovation projects.The report analyzes the on-spot consecutive interpreting on the roadshow which took place in the laser research institute in Shandong province.The material is relay consecutive interpreting which includes Russia,English and Chinese.The report only analyzes the consecutive interpreting between English and Chinese.The roadshow is mainly a presentation of a Russian laser technology company.The report consists of four parts: task introduction,the description of interpreting process,case analysis and conclusion.The case analysis will combine the interpretive theory of translation created by Seleskovitch and the on-spot interpreting cases.The report will focus on how on-spot psychological state and background knowledge of the interpreter can affect the interpreting performance.Through the case analysis,the report will give suggestions on how to effectively improve interpreting. |
