With the development of online courses, many famous universities and institutes have uploaded courses on the Internet to share advanced knowledge. The flipped course has become one of the most popular forms.iBiology is a website that shares advanced knowledge and new research findings in life science and biology through online courses. However, there is no subtitle in these series of video courses. Some of the audiences without English background could not understand the course or acquire the information they need. Therefore, interpreting this set of courses is of vital importance.Interpretive theory of translation has been used to guide the simulated interpretation process. The author tries to find out how does this theory help to achieve a better performance in interpreting and how to solve the problem encountered while interpreting.Through interpreting the Evolution flipped course,a further study of the interpretive theory of translation from a different aspect will be implemented.Through this simulated practice, the interpretive theory is proved to be effectively combined with the scientific language patterns while interpreting. With the guidance of interpretive theory of translation, the efficiency of video interpreting will be improved.Deverbalization helps to conduct the interpretation of biological terminologies from English to Chinese in high efficiency.Due to the language pattern of scientific courses in iBiology website, the interpretive theory of translation could be applied in future video interpreting or course interpreting field.
