As an important branch or research problem of philosophy of mind, the philosophical theory of perception is an important topic that is both old and new.The theory of perception in the history of traditional philosophy has debated and discussed for a long time on the ontological question of the object of perception.John Searle is a famous philosopher in The United States and even in the world today. He has his own unique insights and theories in philosophy of mind and philosophy of language, which has exerted a significant influence on the development of philosophy in the world today.By analyzing intentionality theory and language, the importance of perception theory is expounded again.Nowadays, with the development of perceptual philosophy theory, perceptual theory is no longer just a conceptual tool and a branch of philosophy of mind.Different from the historical tradition, the research methods of contemporary perceptual philosophy present new characteristics and abundant and creative research results. This paper expounds the development of the traditional theory of perception and the theory of intentionality, and then focuses on discussing searle's unique theory of intentionality and its effect on the theory of perception under this theoretical background.Searle used the tools of intentionality theory to combine intentionality and perception theory to obtain his naive realism. This paper from the selected topic reason and background, and analyzes the theoretical study of perception, both at home and abroad show that the domestic for Selma perception after the lack of theoretical research introduces husserl background theory of perception theory, from the traditional perception theory and the theory of intentionality historical development venation paper expounds two aspects provide the stage for later Selma perception theory. In this part,we can understand three general thoughts in the history of philosophy: phenomenalism, indirect realism and direct realism. At the same time,it introduces the origin of intentionality theory and the intentionality theory developed by Searle to introduce the discussion of Searle's perception theory.Secondly, through the combination of Searle's theory of intentionality and his theory of perception,it is found that intentionality theory can solve the discussion of illusion in the problem of perception very well. And through the demonstration of the intentionality of perceptual experience and the formal characteristics of intentionality of perceptual experience,it explains how the theory of intentionality can better solve the problemsexisting in some traditional perception theories. In the end,the author mainly expounds his own viewpoint of naive realism and his criticism of traditional perception theory. In the traditional perception theory,Searle analyzed and criticized some viewpoints such as illusory argument and the argumentation mode of representative figures, and put forward his own naive realism. The emphasis and innovation of this paper lies in the comprehensive analysis of Searle's philosophical theory of perception. On the one hand, explains the Selma his unique theory of intentionality and under the background of his theory of intentionality of consciousness problem,on the other hand trying to critical study of searle's theory of perception, both agree that the traditional perception theory philosopher will experience as object and confusion and experience of the content of the intentional object view, and points out that searle's theory of intentionality is not enough to explain all the intentionality of mental states.
