As one of the three elements of language,vocabulary as its master and accumulation will directly affect the development of the students' listening,speaking,reading,writing and translating abilities.Today the main patterns are still using by lead-reading and explaining with the manners of writing,reciting and testing for the teaching of vocabulary in junior middle school.According to the survey,the results of this mode lead to some students hate learning English vocabulary.They even believe that vocabulary learning is boring and mechanical.These factors will affect the students' enthusiasm to learn vocabulary knowledge,but also influence the formation of students' autonomous learning habit.Based on the experimental research on situational method can be incorporated into vocabulary teaching,using second language acquisition theory and psychology theory to analyze the cooperation of the appropriate situation and effective memory strategy,and how to set the right situation complete the process from input and intake to output.During the process,we can find what kind of situation with the combination of memory strategy is the most appropriate can help students get rid of the plight of vocabulary learning.Students can use vocabulary to learn the knowledge of English culture,and truly improve the comprehensive use of language skills.Experimental results show that by using the method of situation on vocabulary teaching has been greatly increased classroom enthusiasm of the students,the students have improved since the engagement and learning interest.It obviously improved the classroom teaching effect and memory.It's a good foundation for the other parts of English teaching,and finally achieves the teaching purpose of English teaching in junior middle school.The paper is divided into five parts.The first part is introduction,which refers to the purpose and significances of the research.It is mainly about the current situation and problems in English vocabulary teaching in junior middle school.The second part is literature review.It discusses the research status about English vocabulary teaching strategies and situational teaching methods at home and abroad.The third part is research design which includes research purpose,research methods and procedures of the experiment.The fourth part is the data collection and analysis of the experimental study.It mainly analyzes the relevant data of the questionnaires,interviews and experiments.The fifth part is experimental results.It gives the summary including the suggestions of the vocabulary teaching strategies and demonstrates the feasibility and efficiency of situational vocabulary teaching.Then it gives the final summary to reflect the issues which appear in the teaching process.
