The rise of " Stele Theory" in the Qing Dynasty had a great impact on the original classical system of Chinese calligraphy,the calligraphy value of the inscriptions in the Han and Wei Dynasties,the Northern and Southern Dynasties has been explored and valued unprecedentedly.At present,the stele of Zhang Qian has been regarded as a classic model of learning Official Script in Han Dynasty.However,since it was unearthed in Ming Dynasty,scholars and calligraphers have not paid enough attention to it at first,and its authenticity has been questioned.The establishment of classics needs to be tested by history and influenced by many factors.The acceptance history of the stele of Zhang Qian in later generations deserves attention.In view of the previous studies focused on the description of the stele of Zhang Qian from the Ming Dynasty to the middle of the Qing Dynasty.Therefore,this paper focuses on the period of the late Republic of China.This paper attempts to analyze the reception and dissemination of this issue of the stele of Zhang Qian monument from three aspects: record and textual research,creation and extraction,copying and publishing,and reveal the generation factors and process of calligraphy model since the recent years.According to the description of the stele of Zhang Qian in the late Qing Dynasty and the Republic of China,scholars and calligraphers in this period not only continued the tradition of textual research in Qian-Jia Period,but also made a detailed summary of the previous research results,with new development and characteristics.They paid attention to the appraisal of the stele rubbings of the stele of Zhang Qian and the appreciation of the calligraphy art,It is praised as the representative of the “ancient,simple and honest ”style of the Han inscribed tablets,and no longer entangled in the authenticity of the stele.From the practice of taking the stele of Zhang Qian in this period,it is very common for calligraphers to copy the stele as a model.He Shaoji and Liang Qichao copied the stele of Zhang Qian as many as 100 times in their lives.Mo Youzhi,Yang Xian,Weng Tonghe,Zeng Xi,etc.also studied it carefully,and the handed down temporary works are obvious.There is a leading concept behind the different faces of the calligraphers,that is to say,the value of the stele of Zhang Qian is not only its own beauty,but also that it can be used to " lead into regular script " and " from Han Dynasty to Wei Dynasty ",which is helpful for the study and understanding of the regular script of ablet inscriptions of the Northern Dynasties.From the perspective of the reproduction and publication of the stele of Zhang Qian in the late Qing Dynasty and the Republic of China,the new printing technology and publishing channels provided great convenience for the spread of the stele of Zhang Qian calligraphy.In addition to the reduce copy of the stele of Zhang Qian,the printing and publication of the rubbings of the raw stone,the copy of famous scholars,inscriptions shop turn over engraving book,the rubbings of the inkstone stele and the reduced copy of the stele of Zhang Qian made the stele of Zhang Qian truly incarnate into tens of millions and widely spread and accepted.
