The Zhaitouhe cemetery is a cemetery of Rong-Barbarian during the Warring Satates Period which is first discovered and fully excavated in northern Shaanxi in recent years.Totally,90 tombs,2 horse pits and 1cow pit were excavated in cemetery,no surrounding ditches and walls were found.In the burial objects,pottery accounts for a substantial part,followed by bronze and iron.Animal sacrifice is widespread in this cemetery.Tombs that use animals sacrifice occupy whole cemetery50%,and there are a wide variety of animal sacrifice.In addition,the cultural factors of Zhaitouhe cemetery are complex,which is of great significance to the study of Rong-Barbarian culture in Shaanxi.This paper takes Zhaithouhe cemetery as the research object.Based on the typological analysis of the typical pottery unearthed in the tomb,according to the evolution law of the shape of the typical pottery,the tomb of Zhaitouhe cemetery is divided into two stages and three sections.Through the analysis of the form of burial,burial style,funeral articles,martyrdom and so on,it is found that the grave site of Zhaitouhe is popular in the grave,such as grave pit,buried with straight limbs,martyrdom,etc.There is a certain connection in the cutting of limbs in the depression culture,and there is obvious grade difference between tombs,which can be divided into two categories and six subcategories.By comparing the common features and differences between the Zhaitouhe cemetery and the Xirong culture cemetery in other areas during the Eastern Zhou Dynasty,it is found that the Zhaitouhe cemetery is the closest to the Shijiahe cemetery in Huangling area of northern Shaanxi Province,and the difference from the Xirong cultures remains in Ningxia area of Gansu Province.
