The composition of this report is based on mock consecutive interpreting of the second and third episodes of the documentary,China Reinvents Itself, conference consecutive interpreting of Gansu Internet-plus-based Socialized Agricultural Service System Development Project and conference consecutive interpreting of Aviko's board meeting. In the practice,“deverbalization” and “cognitive complement” of interpretive theory play a decisive guiding role to ensure the quality of interpreting. The orientation of deverbalization is to shake off concrete lingual form of SL,avoid mechanical correspondence on the lexical and syntactic level so that speakers' contextual meaning, intention and emotion can be delivered idiomatically on the basis of profound and comprehensive understanding of SL.To ensure the quality of TL generated by wielding deverbalization in interpreting, the present author gives top priority to the following three processes incisively illuminated by interpretive theory,i.e.meaning equivalence, negotiation between preserving form and maintaining meaning and cultural transfer. The three processes facilitate faithful and explicit expression and adequate delivery of cultural connotations in interpreting.Through observing interpretive theory and highlighting its above-mentioned three processes of interpreting, the present writer summarizes the following five approaches to handle the concrete problems encountered in the interpreting process,i.e.simplification,explanation,combination,logical manifestation and cognitive complement. These five approaches are testified to be effective to tackle some concrete problems in interpreting.
