At present,the new words and usages in glossary are often translated by the medium language(usually English)in the primary and intermediate textbooks of Chinese as a foreign language.However,we often find some Chinese words have the same English annotation.Previous studies have made statistics on the translation of words in some Chinese textbooks.A small number of studies have designed a vocabulary test questionnaire to verify the acquisition effect of the new words before and after the revision of the definitions.Based on the previous data,this paper makes a more detailed analysis and uses the questionnaire survey method to test the effect of the revision on the English definition of the synonymous words.This paper consists of four chapters.Chapter one introduces the value and significance of this topic from the perspectives of translation studies and the compilation,contrastive analysis and error analysis of words in TCFL textbooks.It grasps the research limitation and the research direction of this paper from the related literature of the translation of words in TCFL textbooks.In the second chapter,we sift the datafrom the existing research and analyze the two literature data in this paper and 22 sets of co-translation words to classify 22 sets of synonymous words according to whether they are co-morphemes,whether the meanings of the words are similar,whether the parts of speech are the same and whether they are the same.Then we observe the trend of correct rate of students vocabulary test under the four categories of the same-morphemes: the correct rate of the co-morphemes is higher than that of the non-co-morphemes;The correct rate of the words with differentpart of speech is higher than that words with the same part of speech.The third chapter,this paper designs the Vocabulary Test Questionnaire for Initial and Intermediate Foreign Students to test the vocabulary of English words.The data show that although the new words in Chinese Course have been modified,the students acquisition is not much better than before the revised version,and the errors of the students still exist.This paper has some significant effects on the revision of the paraphrase of some words.In chapter four expounds the research value of this paper and the trade of deviation before and after the revision of different types of synonymous words.The last chapter also points out some shortcomes of this paper and prospects for future research.
