Analysis Of Language Practice In Intermediate Business Chinese Courses

With China's increasing international status and influence,Chinese has also played a great role in cross-cultural communication and international economic and trade.And with the gradual warming up of the "Chinese fever",more and more foreigners are working and living in China,and the demand for business Chinese learning is also growing.Practice as a part of "practice" is indispensable in business Chinese learning and teaching.Guided by the principle of communicative functional approach,this paper takes exercises in three kinds of intermediate business Chinese textbooks published after China's entry into the new century as the research objects(e.g.the Intermediate Course of Chinese for Economy and Trade in the New Century,the Comprehensive Course of Chinese for Business with New Thoughts(Volume 3),and the Intermediate Business Chinese for Xinsilk Road,respectively).Combined with the course(Business Chapter),this paper summarizes the advantages and disadvantages of different textbook exercises and points out their merits and demerits.Combining with questionnaire survey and interviews with teachers and students,the exercises(topic types and contents)in the textbook are elaborated and studied in detail.It is proposed that the exercises of intermediate business Chinese textbooks be compiled in the future.Five modest suggestions:Firstly,appropriately increasing practical ? communicative and task-based exercises;Secondly,increasing the practice of pronunciation,listening and speaking;Thirdly,increasing exercises of language elements and language skills;Fourthly,updating exercise questions and increasing practice on cultural knowledge in time.;Fifthly,increasing the interests and interaction of exercises;Finally,adding business exercises?...
