A Study Of Communicative Exercises In The Intermediate Comprehensive Textbooks For American Universities

Nowadays,the importance of communicative practice is more and more important,but relevant research is not systematic,the primary oral English textbooks are the most,and the research on intermediatetextbooks is very few.The author observed the Living and Learning in China is an intermediate comprehensive teaching Chinese abroad,in the design,the communicative practice is very special:The topics and settings of the lessons in this text all come from the real experiences of hundreds of students who studied abroad in China and from teachers who taught in China.These topics have been rated as the most important and useful ones for Living and Learning in China.In this paper,in accordance with the principle of predecessors to the division of types of communicative practice,could be divided into:communicative practice according to the situation with specified words to speak,according to the situation with specified words dialogue,use words to answer,answer the questions according to actual condition,the real practice,free conversation language communication activities,tasks,type,class discussion,debate and speech.First of all,the author of communicative practice topic quantity of teaching material,the length setting,topic setting,content arrangement study,found that the special communicative practice,summarizes the advantages and disadvantages of the title.Secondly,the author will use the classroom observation and interview method to observe the usage of communicative practice,get the students to practice feedback,and sums up the study in China’s use of the communicative practice.Finally,summarize the characteristics of communicative exercises and the use of communicative exercises inStudying in China,and provide suggestions for the preparation of communicative practice materials and the use of communicative exercises.
