A Comparative Study On The Musical Edicts Of Tang Dynasty Imperial Edict Collection And Song Dynasty Imperial Edict Collection

"Imperial edict" is a kind of general designation of official document type order issued in the name of ancient Chinese emperors,which has legal authority and enforceability.There are many different systems of imperial edicts,including system,Zhi,imperial edict,imperial mandate,imperial order,imperial decree,imperial volume,imperial oracle,imperial command Xi,etc.Music edict is a kind of edict issued by the emperor and the ruling class in order to consolidate their centralized rule in various fields related to music,such as ritual music,court music and dance,folk music,etc.the system includes music edict,music system,music edict,criticism,hand edict,etc.This paper is divided into four parts.It mainly studies the music of these two dynasties according to all the contents of the imperial edicts related to music in the imperial edicts of Tang Dynasty and the imperial edicts of Northern Song Dynasty.The author hopes that through the study of these music related edicts,we can understand the music historical data except the official historical records,so as to help us further understand and understand the music development of these two dynasties;in addition,we can also let future generations know the ancient theory of the present.The first part mainly studies the writing system and background of the two sets of imperial edicts,including the development of the writing system and category of the imperial edicts in ancient Chinese history,the writing time and background of the two sets of imperial edicts,the description of the compilers of the two sets of imperial edicts,the writing method and the issuers of the imperial edicts Description of.In the second part,all the music edicts in the collection of Tang Dynasty imperial edicts and the edicts related to music content will be listed and narrated in order to understand the attitude of the ruling class towards music and the different political measures taken for music in the reign of Tang Dynasty.In the third part,the author will focus on sorting out and describing all the music edicts in the collection of the great imperial edicts of Song Dynasty and some of the edicts related to music,in order to understand the attitude of the ruling class of the Northern Song Dynasty towards music,the various measures issued to music and the impact on music development.The fourth part,on the basis of the first three parts,makes a comprehensive comparative study of the music and music related edicts.Through the comparative study,we hope to understand the influence of the ruling class of the two dynasties on the development of music and the different musical characteristics of the two dynasties under different political rule from the two imperial edicts.
