A Study On The Images Of The Novels In The New Works Of The Late Qing And Early Republic(1894-1919)

The novel images in the late Qing Dynasty and the early Republic of China are a side branch of the novel and self-contained system in the long-term development of novel images.This part of the image carries a wide range of realistic content,which reproduces the living beings in the history of the late Qing Dynasty and the early Republic of China to a great extent,and has important Historical literature value.Based on this,this article puts it in the overall framework of the history of novel image development to examine it,and tries to reveal the overall appearance of the novel image in the novels of the late Qing and early Republic of China.Therefore,this paper is mainly divided into the following five aspects:The first chapter cuts through the vertical and horizontal dimensions,and uses the(the attached picture)novels as the clues in the vertical direction,combining the background of the times and the development of the novel images,and divides them into two development stages;horizontally draws different objects in the novel images The development of the sequel is a clue,specifically discussing the new changes in the figures,plots,and sub-pictures.The second chapter mainly discusses the narrative function of the images in the novels of the late Qing Dynasty and the early Republic of China.From the style of the novel image presented in the eyes of the reader(the relationship between the image and the text,the relationship between the image and the image)to the image itself(the restoration of the text content in the main part of the novel image,the unique representation mode of the novel image)Cut in and sort out the interactive relationship between images and text in the graphic novels in the late Qing Dynasty and early Republic of China.The third chapter traces the places where the novels are printed in the late Qing and early Republic of China,and adopts the idea of combining points and planes.It not only summarizes the general structure of the book collection of new novels at thistime(with photos),but also an analysis of the bookstores that play an important role in the production and dissemination of novel images will involve three important bookstores: Gailiang Press,the Shanghai Bookstore,and the Civilization Bookstore.The fourth chapter mainly discusses the help it produced to the novels of novels in the late Qing and early Republic of China from the perspective of printing technology and the group of artists.On one hand,it analyzes the image development led by the development of printing technology such as lithography,lead printing,and copper printing;on the other hand,it expounds the group characteristics of the image painters and the multi-dimensional development of painters' painting techniques in the novels of the late Qing and early Republic of China.The fifth chapter analyzes the case method,and restores the social system and social features of the late Qing Dynasty and the early Republic of China from the perspective of interpreting the image content of the novel.It mainly examines from the three main aspects: "foreigners" and exotic architecture(an image of a foreign imagination),from "airplanes" to "submarines"(images full of sci-fi elements),"girl students" and new school(images reflecting educational conditions)The historical features of the novels in the late Qing and early Republic of China.
