The issue of prisoners of war is an important issue in the study of war system. The second world war is the largest world war in the history of human war.According to incomplete statistics, there were millions of prisoners of war in the Second World War,and tens of thousands of allies were captured by Japanese forces. These prisoners mainly came from more than ten countries, such as the United States,Britain, the Netherlands, the Philippines and so on.The Japanese Fengtian POW camp is the only POW camp set up by the Japanese army in the northeast. It holds nearly 2000 prisoners of war,and it is also the most standardized POW camp set up by the Japanese army. There are two first and second World War POW camps directly subordinate to the Allied POW camp of Fengtian.Among them,Liaoyuan high-level POW camp was widely concerned because it held 34 high-level Allied POWs during World War II.Based on the analysis of the historical process of Fengtian POW camp, this paper mainly studies the reasons for its establishment and related management issues, including: abuse of prisoners of war, forced labor in violation of international conventions, psychological problems of prisoners of war abused and rescued,decision-making background and strategic intention of secretly detaining senior Allied Military and political prisoners of war, etc.
