This paper of the introduction part briefly reviews the previous studies on the typical modal particles ma,a,ba,ne.We sort out the usages of the typical modal particles ma,a,ba,ne,according to the research of the predecessors.And then we examine the actual situation of the use of typical modal particles by Chinese native speakers through the modern Chinese corpus.This sums up the sequence of the native speakers using the different usages of the typical modal particles "ma,a,ba,ne".Then through the interlanguage corpus,we also examine the Chinese learners how to use the usage of typical modal particles and find out the actual gap using different usages of typical modal particles between Chinese learners and native speakers.And we understand which is that the learners are likely to have a certain avoidance tendency for using the usages of typical modal particles and is less or no output.After that we also Investigate the presentation of the typical modal particles in the two series of textbooks "Developing Chinese:oral Chinese" and " A Course in oral Chinese",based on the situation reflected in modern Chinese corpus and interlanguage corpus.And then we examine whether the presentation and the arrangement of the typical modals' usage of the two sets of Chinese oral textbooks is reasonable and scientific.We found that there are certain problems in the presentation of the typical modal particles in the two sets of textbooks.At last,we put forward the suggestions and opinions on how to compile the different usages of typical modal words in textbooks from the perspectives of compilation principles of Chinese oral textbooks for oversea learners,acquisition theory and cognitive psychology.It also summarizes the whole paper and points out the shortcomings of this paper.
