| As we all know,for a complete and successful process of interpreting,“during-interpreting” brimming with lots of information and focuses is the most important part rather than “pre-interpreting” and “post-interpreting”.Thus,interpreter’ s responsibility during the process of interpreting is quite crucial,because the interpreter is a coordinator of all kinds of conflicts and constraints during the process.Selecting what information and using what phrases and even reaching what results,to a large extent,depend on interpreter’s responsibility.Some scholars raised some concepts like “interpreter-centered” for researching interpreter’s responsibility in interpreting and promoting smooth and efficient interpreting process.This report is going to talk about four kinds of self-perception guided by A.Chesterman’s models of ethics translation,and discusses the interpreter’s responsibility in liaison interpreting based on distinctive self-perception,and figure out matching coping strategies based on case study.According to this report,the responsibility of interpreter in liaison interpreting could be affected by four distinctive self-perception like information transmitter,mediator,communicator and spokesman.This report also analysis matching coping strategies based on case study for interpreter to give full play to interpreter’s subjectivity to have an accurate self-perception and to shoulder the responsibility in liaison interpreting,which could promote the quality and efficiency of interpreter’s practice. |
