The research compared and analyzed the Chinese and Vietnamese network words by using the literature review method,inductive method and comparative analysis.Collection work has been done by searching the literatures,dissertations and journals about the Chinese and Vietnamese network words through various methods.The author summarized and contrasted the definitions of network words in Chinese and Vietnamese language,which clarify the definition in this research which refers to the informal words that only be used in the online communication,various social networks and APPs,which has novel meanings inside.In order to describe the distinction and similarity of the network words of the two languages,the research analyzed the forming method mainly from four aspects including: how to form a synonym,how to create new words from old words,how to form abbreviations and how to form expression symbols.It also pointed out the underlying causes of difference of two languages in term of language characteristics and culture.It suggested that some issues are exist in the teaching of Chinese network words according to the analysis of the distinction between the two languages and the description of the teaching status of the network words.The issues are as following: parts of the content of the Chinese teaching materials are too obsoleted to match the contemporary China,lack of the network words in the teaching materials,avoidance behavior which is out of the national language policy,the ignorance of the network words in classroom teaching.Based on that,the research raised three teaching strategies to refresh the impression of China,to force the construct of the network words and to make the learners to be able to use Chinese network words to complete the necessary daily communication.Firstly,add on the network words in the classroom teaching.Secondly,adopt the comparative analysis method in the teaching.Finally,use the Task-based Teaching Approach in Chinese teaching.
