Research On The Countermeasures For The Protection And Development Of The Historic Conservation Area In Ulanqab

China's current research on modern industrial heritage is still in the process of promoting "legacy".With the increasing development of urbanization,the continuous expansion of urban renewal has already led to a large number of places abandoned or unused,such as old factories,old buildings and so on.In particular,a backward awareness about modern industrial heritage is still exceedingly obvious after the foundation of New China.How to protect the urban cultural characteristics including industrial heritage to relive again has become a challenge that we have to face in urban renewal.This research is aimed at the protection and development of industrial heritage.It summarizes the successful cases and experiences on historical and cultural blocks in China and other countries.Starting with the relevant theories of the protection of historical and cultural blocks,it concentrates more on the advantages and disadvantages under different modes.Taking Ulanqab as an example,it describes the current situation and its meaning about the protection and development of Ulanqab industrial heritage.By analyzing the historical evolution of the historical and cultural blocks of Jining Meat Joint Factory and Eight Warehouses in Ulanqab,more relevant problems have been put forward when facing with the protection of the local historical and cultural blocks.Based on this,to promote the protection and development of historical and cultural blocks,the government needs to use “government-led,public participation,and market-oriented operations”as the regulation and control model,establish and improve policies and regulations,strengthen the organization and management system,and broaden the funding channels.Propaganda and education enhance public recognition,improve the participation and supervision mechanism,improve the quality of the ecological environment of historical and cultural blocks,realize the sustainable development of the historical and cultural blocks of Ulanqab,protect the historical context of the city,and continue the vitality of the city.
