Simulated E-C Interpretation Report On Auto Review Show

The original material,an auto review show named Doug DeMuro’s: Exotics Cars,contains plentiful new media(YouTube)colloquial expressions with dense information and weak logical relationship.The proper conveyance of such function units as rhetoric constructions of ST is quite difficult for the target discourse audience fond of novel and popular new media expressions,in terms of intertextual realization of the rhetoric construction of new media popular words.Basically,the author classifies difficulties into three specific categories:(1)Difficulties in realizing the unconventionality of the rhetoric construction of NMPWs;(2)Difficulties in realizing the immediacy of the rhetoric construction of NMPWs;(3)Difficulties in realizing the humor of the rhetoric construction of NMPWs.From the perspective of Kirchhoff’s Three-party Bilingual Communication System for SI,the primary task of the interpreter is segmenting and transferring the function unit—rhetoric construction from one system to another.Therefore,three coping tactics are accessible to deal with the difficulties in realizing the Rhetoric Construction of NMPWs:(1)Fixing the format to realize the unconventionality of the rhetoric construction of NMPWs;(2)Mixing English with Chinese to realize the immediacy of the rhetoric construction of NMPWs;(3)Fixing the format with phonetic parodies to realize the humor of the rhetoric construction of NMPWs.The study demonstrates that appropriate comprehension of the rhetoric construction of the expressions in source new media culture with above-mentioned coping tactics plays an essential role in SI in terms of alleviating the stress of short-term working memory and producing the target discourse accurately and fluently.Additionally,tactics mentioned in this project can work as a reference for other new media programs and talk shows.
