Taking the music of Sogdia from the northern dynasty to the Sui and Tang dynasties as the research object,this paper,through the methods of literature analysis,field investigation and double evidence,sorts out and analyzes the music data of Sogdia recorded in the literature and preserved in the archaeological data,so we can judge the development of Sogdia music in Central Plain and the influence of Hu music on the music development in Central Plain.This paper is divided into four chapters.The first chapter analyzes the characters of Sogdia people in the literature and archaeological materials,the social background of Sogdia music popular in Central Plain,and defines the nationality of Sogdia people,so we can judge the relationship between Sogdia Music and Central Plain music from the northern dynasty to the Sui and Tang dynasties.The second chapter mainly studies the Sogdians and the arrangement of Sogdia's musical instruments from the northern dynasty to the Sui and Tang dynasties,explaining the role of these Sogdians in promoting the rise of Central Plain and the spread of Western music.The third chapter mainly studies the three music dances,Hu Teng dance,Hu Xuan dance and Zhe Zhi dance,which flourished in Sogdia from the northern dynasty to the Sui and Tang dynasties,the last section discusses the controversy about the Popular Pohan Huxi in Central Plain,and reveals the origin and development of the Pohan Huxi.In addition,the author also makes a comparative analysis of the arrangement of musical instruments and dance images in the archaeological materials of Sogdia's native region and the musical materials of Sogdia in Central Plain,revealing that Hu music was also influenced by Han music in the process of its eastward spread,thus produces the scene which the Hu folk music two-way exchanges.
