"X Le" is important expressions for speech communicators to organize discourse and express emotion.Former scholars have conducted in-depth research on "X Le" as a whole,but the individual research has not been systematic and comprehensive.And the learners may have some errors while learning "X Le" especially "Wan Le" and "Huai Le".Therefore,this article selects "Wan Le" and "Huai Le" as the research objects,and has used linguistic theory as supports.At the synchronic level,it makes comprehensive and detailed study of their syntax,semantics and pragmatics with the method of literature research,combination of description and interpretation,qualitative and quantitative analysis,and comparative analysis.The purpose of this article is to find the similarities and differences between the "Wan Le" and "Huai Le" to systematically analyze the two,to provide a new theoretical perspective for the study of "X Le" and enrich the ontological research of contemporary Chinese.Then it can provide efficient and high-quality services for Chinese information processing and teaching Chinese as a foreign language.This article is divided into five chapters:The first chapter is the introduction,which summarizes the selection basis and current research status of "Wan Le" and "Huai Le".They are important components of the "X Le" structure.A systematic comparative study of the two can enrich the research results of the "X Le" structure and provide new perspective for teaching Chinese as a foreign language.The second chapter is a comparative study of the syntactic features of "Wan Le" and "Huai Le".The chapter is divided into four sections.It examines the distribution positions the syntactic components,variant forms,and cooccurrence with other components.Through the comparative study of these four aspects,we have judged the syntactic features of the two.The third chapter is a comparative study of the semantic analysis of "Wan Le" and "Huai Le".The chapter is divided into three sections.First,the semantic categories of the two are defined,then their semantic characteristics are analyzed,and finally their semantic orientation is analyzed in different contexts.The fourth chapter is a comparative study of the pragmatic functions of "Wan Le" and "Huai Le".The chapter is divided into five sections,which explore their pragmatic features,textual functions,communicative functions,and stylistic distributions.The fifth chapter puts forward proposals for teaching Chinese as a foreign language based on the syntactic,semantic,and pragmatic characteristics of "Wan Le" and "Huai Le".Finally,it summarizes the main content of the research and puts forward the research deficiencies.
