Research On The Design Of Shield Logos In The Republic Of China

During the period of the Republic of China,new culture,new thoughts and new things began to pour in,constantly impacting the people in the social changes.With the influx of foreign goods,the hype in the Chinese market,and dumping of national enterprises in improving the quality of products at the same time,had to face the severe reality,for the public new aesthetic demand change,active learning western advanced design idea,pay attention to the packaging of goods publicity and image of the logo design,on the basis of inheriting traditional,bold and draw lessons from foreign style style,practice and exploration,and unprecedented became a new trend in the field of design,such as shield logo design and application,which is a prominent example.In this paper,the shield logo design as the research object,from the design dimension,through the shield logo case analysis,combined with the political economy,cultural aesthetics,art design development status,etc.,the evolution of the design of the shield logo.This paper tries to find out the development track of the shield sign in the Republic of China,and reproduce the important design cases under the influence of Chinese and western culture in modern design,so as to enrich and expand the research system of modern design in China.In the introduction,the research significance and research paradigm of the shield logo design in the period of the Republic of China are expounded,and the current research status of the academia is summarized.The second chapter,on the basis of expounding the origin of the coat of arms in the period of the Republic of China,discusses the historical development background of the coat of arms in the period of the Republic of China in terms of the traditional Chinese culture and the western coat of arms.The third chapter,from the perspective of design,sorts out the themes,contents and categories of the shield logo in the period of the Republic of China,and reveals the allegorical symbols and cultural connotations of the design of different forms of the shield logo.At the same time,the paper explores the design concept of the shield logo of the Republic of China,explores the localization process of foreign design elements at that time,and analyzes the expression form of the shield logo design from the three aspects of shape,pattern and color.The fourth chapter explores the connection between the western modern art movement and the tradition of the Republic of China and the public aesthetics,as well as the recognition and acceptance of the shield symbol.Thefifth chapter summarizes the design style characteristics and value significance of shield logo in the Republic of China.Through the research and analysis of the design of shield logo in the period of the Republic of China,it emphasizes the inheritance and development of the traditional Chinese culture in the localization design of foreign shield logo,and shows its core concept of "the past serves the present,the foreign serves the present",which undoubtedly has important theoretical value and practical significance for the current logo design.
