With the further development of education reform,the hot topic of "core literacy" has aroused fierce discussion among scholars at home and abroad.As an important content of cultivating students' core accomplishment,music general education in colleges and universities has the special functions of edifying sentiment,enlightening wisdom and promoting harmonious development of personality in all-round development education of students.It has become the consensus of the whole society to strengthen and promote music general education in colleges and universities.At present,the combination of core literacy and music teaching focuses on basic education,and there is little research on higher education and lack of a more mature theoretical system.Therefore,it is necessary to carry on the deep to the university music class general education the investigation and analysis provide some reference for the educators and managers engaged in music teaching in colleges and universities.This article is based on the current music general classroom teaching in colleges and universities,through literature analysis,questionnaire survey,interview and classroom observation,select L universities for case studies,strive to understand teaching status of music general courses in L universities as comprehensively as possible,and then find out the starting point of the research.Based on this,this paper analyzes the problems existing in the teaching process of music general education,and finally puts forward some feasible suggestions.The survey shows that the music general course at L University has certain advantages and some outstanding problems.Its advantages are mainly manifested in the fact that students generally prefer music,have certain musical spectrum and singing skills,and the teachers have professional music discipline backgrounds.The main problems are: the school does not pay enough attention to music general education,the curriculum is more casual,the teaching content is too professional,theteaching method is single,the music teacher lacks the understanding of core literacy,and the teaching evaluation method lacks characteristics.In view of the above problems,this study believes that to improve the teaching quality of music general courses at L University,it is necessary to create a music core literacy training environment;scientifically set up music general courses to expand the choice of courses;centering on core literacy to optimize teaching content;students Focus on improving teaching strategies;broaden the vision of core literacy and promote the development of music general education;highlight characteristics and build a core literacy evaluation system.In a word,based on the core literacy perspective,this paper discusses the difficulties faced by the music general curriculum in colleges and universities,and gives reasonable suggestions to the development of music general curriculum in L universities,in order to promote the improvement of college students' music core literacy and the development of music general education in colleges and universities.
