Since China's Reform and Opening up Policies,social work has been paid more and more attention by Chinese Governments,social institutions as well as enterprises.As the continuous development of China's economy and the restructuring and reform of enterprises,work stress issue of managers at all levels is becoming increasingly prominent.This will not only after the physical and mental health,working status and career development of employees,but also affect the operation management,the economic benefits and the future development of enterprises.Work stress is a sense of stress that managers at all levels cannot make corresponding self-adjustment with the changes of the enterprise and external environment in the development process of the enterprise.As the mainstay of the enterprise,work stress of base level managers is more important to the whole enterprise,which is closely related to the development of the whole organization.Therefore,in order to guide base level managers to correctly cope with work stress,the interaction between individuals and the organizational environment,adjust themselves to adapt to the changes of organizational strategy,structure and process,and promote common development of base level managers and the organization,this paper will explore how to relieve work stress of base level managers through the intervention of group work in company Z.This Paper takes the urgent need under current working environment as the background of the topic,which aims to relief work stress of base level managers in company Z.Based on the requirements of transformation strategy for base level managers in company Z,this paper also analyzed the patterns and symptoms of work stress.According to the analysis,it is found that base level managers of Z company are facing with these work stress including: Role Stress,Stress of Ineffective Communication and Career Development Stress.On basis of stress classifications above,this paper will take Maslow's Hierarchy of Needs theory,Ecosystem theory and Organizational and Environmental Patterns as the theoretical framework of group work interventions to assess group members and set up group objectives.Based on the demands of group members and objectives of group work,carry out the scheme design and implementation,and the work performance of entire group work is then to be evaluated.Through the intervention of group work,group members have improved their confidence and ability in dealing with stress to achieve transformation and mastering the interactive adaptation relationship in the organizational environment,and all which states that the group goal is basically achieved.Above all,combined with group work practice of relieving work stress of base level managers in company Z,this paper also focuses on the deficiencies,and raises suggestions for the development of group work practice,hoping to provide reference for the practice of social work localization discussion in China.
