The thesis takes Nothing as the topic of inquiry. The thesis summarizes the basic formulation of the topic in Anaximander,Parmenides,Plato,Eckhart,Hegel,Kierkegaard,Nietzsche and Heidegger. As a basic problem of metaphysics, the topic of Nothing continuous in the history of philosophy. On this basis, the thesis further advances the beginning of the topic from Parmenides to Anaximander. Then the relevant terms of Nothing as a topic,Nothing as the subject of the topic and Nothing as a way of showing itself are sorted out.Clarify the meaning and the translation of the essential concept ??????? of Anaximander's thought. The adjective apeiron and the noun the apeiron are clarified respectively. Then,by analyzing the Anaximander's fragments recorded by Simplicius, the possibility of apeiron nature as arche was proposed, and the reasonability of interpreting the apeiron as a principle was explained. It is concluded that apeiron as an attribute and the apeiron as a principle define apeiron nature as arche. Finally,it points out the connection between the genesis of the topic of Nothing in Anaximander's thought and Aristotle's infinity and Heidegger's problem of Nothing. This provides a reasonable interpretation of Anaximander as the genesis of the problem of Nothing.Based on Parmenides basic proposition of to be,esti and on are both derived from einai.Through the investigation of Aristotle's theory of substance and Aristotle's view on coming-to-be,it is concluded that substance could being and could not being, and that coming-to-be cannot come from Nothing.By comparing the two propositions with Parmenides' proposition of “opinions”,it is reasonable to interpret Parmenides' proposition by to be.By comparing “naming” with Aristotle's epistemology,it is concluded that “opinions” are derived from “naming”.The threefold structure of what to be,“being” of things and “beings” is constructed according to the process of human cognition. The necessity in Parmenides' proposition of to be is defended by investigating the meaning of what to be and to be.In the end,the identity of to be and Nothing is proved, which leads to the conclusion that there is the topic of Nothing in Parmenides' proposition of to be,which first appears as a definite theme in the history of philosophy. The split between metaphysics and physics, initiated by Aristotle, suppresses Nothing-to be and represents Nothing-to be as beings. The scientific process of metaphysics constantly urges people and brings about danger.Saving power grows where danger is,and therefore calls for a return to the origin, that is,a thinking on the truth of to be.Meanwhile, the thinking reflects the essence of Dasein, that is,Zu-sein.
