A Research On The Artistic-Creation Features Of Taiwanese New-generation Film Directors(1982—2017)

In the 1980 s,Taiwan's film industry began to employ a number of young directors in its internal and external troubles.The "Taiwan new film" movement,which is enough to rewrite the history of Taiwan's films,has been launched.At the same time,the new directors who have been trained in this campaign have become the backbone of Taiwan's local film industry in the future.This paper reviews the development of Taiwan's new directors in more than 30 years since 1982.They are divided into three periods: early,middle and late.The early representatives were Hou Xiaoxian and Yang Dechang,who gave their works a strong personal style through the narration of their personal growth experience,and created the "author's film" in Taiwan;the middle representatives were Li an and Cai Mingliang,whose background of studying abroad made their vision across the East and the west,and their depiction of the city more acute;the later representatives were Wei Desheng,Niu Chengze,etc.,who accumulated We should explore Taiwan's "local" characteristics and attach equal importance to both commerce and art.New directors in different periods have different creative characteristics,but through the aesthetic analysis of their works,we can see many inheritance and development.When analyzing the works of three new directors in the later period,it is found that the anti tradition of narrative structure in the early new directors' works,Hou Xiaoxian's poetic expression through lens language and Yang Dechang's black humorous social criticism in Mahjong are respectively in he Weiting's Taipei Sunday,Zhang Rongji's flying against the light,and Huang Xinyao's Buddha It is revealed in Plath.But at the same time,the three new directors still have the obvious characteristics of the post new director period.They pay attention to the Filipino servants and disabled people in Taiwan society,but they do not resort to sadness.They are good at romantic treatment,or simply in the playful deconstruction of the suffering dissipated.At last,this paper reflects on the creation of new directors.It mainly believes that new directors should get rid of the excessive dependence on "national filmguidance fund",grasp the balance between artistry and commerciality in their works,and open up a larger market for new directors' works through the continuous excavation of themes,continuous innovation of film language and emphasis on film publicity.Rule...
