As an important part of the national culture, Chinese traditional festivals bring happiness to people, at the same time; it reflects the relationship between people, as well as humans and nature. It also reflects the Chinese people living in morphology and psychological characteristics in different historical periods. Therefore, from the perspective of traditional festivals, we can get a more specific understanding of our tradition culture.This paper is based on TCSL, from the perspective of language teaching, the author divide the traditional festival culture into cultural concepts and cultural representations. The festival culture concept has an deep effect on festive cultural phenomenon. So this paper is mainly discussing how to implement festival culture concept in TCSLThe paper is divided into four parts, the first part is introduction, briefly introduce the backgrounds and relevant research status quo.The first chapter is study about the traditional festivals concept in language teaching. Firstly, the author clarify the relationship between the concept of festival culture and language teaching; secondly, combining language teaching, extracted three festival culture concepts which has grate impact on festival customs and cultural activities thus combining the abstract concepts and concrete cultural festival. Thirdly, in order to provide the complete and comprehensive culture information for Chinese learner, the paper analyzing the changing of traditional festivals concepts and offer appropriate teaching strategies with the developing view.The second chapter investigating the teaching status of traditional festivals culture concepts in TCSL, it carried out from the below three aspects, by Analyzing the choreography rate of festival culture in the textbook, observing the teaching situation about traditional festivals culture and evaluating the learner acquisition about traditional festivals culture. Those steps are all making by collecting examples of materials and design of the questionnaire. Finally, the author assesses the status of traditional festivals cultural concepts teaching, making overall assessment from the perspective of teaching, finding existing problem and give some strategy in next chapter. The third chapter focuses on how to implement the traditional festivals culture concepts in TCSL, deeply analysis from textbook, teacher and student, even putting forward some teaching model and teaching methods for festivals culture concepts as well as designs teaching cases in second step, making the thesis has a certain operability practically.The paper mainly study on Chinese traditional festivals culture concepts from the perspective of language teaching, in order to expand and deepen the scope and depth of festive teaching in TCSL as well as leading study direction towards deep-seated cultural concepts. The ultimate purpose is help Chinese learners get systematically and specific understanding for Chinese traditional festivals culture and make solid foundation for overall Chinese traditional culture studying.
