A Case Study On The Application Of Drama Teaching Method In Teaching Chinese As A Foreign Language

Drama teaching method is to assist language teaching through drama performance.It is a teaching method that applies drama performance to skill training and knowledge transfer.As a kind of comprehensive art,drama integrates various artistic forms such as language expression,music and dance,performance,modeling,etc.,and permeates cultural knowledge.It plays an important role in stimulating students’ interest in learning Chinese,improving their pragmatic and communicative competence,and cultivating their awareness of cross-cultural communication.The introduction of drama teaching method into second language teaching is an active attempt to innovate Chinese teaching method by learning from English teaching method.Combining drama teaching method in Highgate primary school,London,UK The development of Chinese teaching,this paper first draws on the research results of drama teaching method at home and abroad,analyzes the feasibility of drama teaching method in teaching Chinese as a foreign language through the characteristics of drama teaching method and the difficulties of Chinese as a second language teaching;then,the author shows two complete teaching plans from two different levels of junior and senior grades in our school,according to the results of the questionnaire survey.Finally,for primary school Chinese learners of different ages,the author puts forward the implementation methods and teaching suggestions of dramatic teaching method to make the Chinese curriculum value present diversity,and makes the correlation research between the teaching method and Chinese learning achievement.
