Everyone has their own learning style,according to the learning style so as to develop a learning method.Only by choosing the suitable learning method can we help ourselves to receive information and learning experience more efficiently.Therefore,it is important for teachers to understand students' strengths and preferences.Analyzing students' learning styles can help students understand their own learning strengths and weaknesses,and can also support teachers to become more organized in their teaching research,use empirical knowledge as a basis for new teaching,and plan useful learning strategies for different teaching tasks.VAK learning style theory divides students into three distinct learning styles:Visual,Auditory and Kinesthetic.Understanding the student's learning style allows both the teacher and the student to realize"what really works" for any individual.Based on the VAK learning style theory,this paper uses scales to test students' learning styles,observes and records in class and interviews after class to understand students'learning styles.At the same time,class activities are classified based on the theory and integrated into the teaching design.After the implementation of the scheme,the applicability of VAK learning style theory in Chinese teaching design was verified by comparing students'unit test scores and classroom behavior.In the end,the paper reflects on and summarizes the teaching results in order to provide reference and inspiration for the improvement of Chinese teaching quality in Singapore School Cebu.The research found that learning style has an important influence on Chinese learning.and different classes have different Chinese learning styles.The author made corresponding teaching design according to the different learning styles of each class,and the students of the last three grades all changed in terms of grades and classroom performance.Therefore,the combination of VAK into the teaching design can greatly improve the class participation and the learning efficiency of learners.
