Study On The Cultivation Of The Elderly Volunteers In The Social Service Of Homm Care

With the aggravation of the aging of population,the pension service has become the focus of social concern,and the home care service for the elderly relying on community has emerged as the times require.Sound and perfect home care service can not be separated from the participation of professional social workers,and elderly volunteers of community is one of the significant resources for social workers when carring out home care service.The elderly can be not only the home care service user,but also the provider,thus elderly volunteers cultivation of social service has become an important task to promote community pension service.This paper is based on the research of the home care social service and the elderly volunteers,taking elderly service project of X social work service center of X community in Xiamen as a case study,using literature method,participant observation method and interview method,the active aging theory as a research perspective,carring out elderly volunteers cultivation of the home care social service.First,this paper analyzes the basic situation of X community home care services objects,and service objects demand and capacity from the perspective of active aging;secondly,elaborates the elderly volunteers cultivation plan and pattern of X social work service center,including how to determine the goal of cultivating people,mobilize the target population to participate the service center activities,how to organize and develop the ability of the target population and the establishment of elderly volunteers organization;thirdly,analyzes the elderly volunteers cultivation project intervention results,including the satisfied result of demand and ability of the elderly and relationship change among the elderly peer groups,neighborhood,social worker and community;finally,discusses the relationship between the elderly community participation with "health" and "security" from the perspective of active aging,summarizes how to cultivate and use the elderly volunteers in the home care social work service.The results emphasize and focus on the elderly's ability to provide a theoretical reference for the diversified development of home care service.
