Rural modernization does not aim to the eradication of rural areas, but to improve rural lives. However,in many rural regions, with the combined effect of factors like the impact of the Marketization, the brain drain in rural areas, the failure of rural policies etc,the rural decline became an embarrassing footnote to the myth of modernization. How to solve the decline of the village and re-energize the rural community has become a research focus. The author had the privilege of studying in Taiwan Province for half a year, witnessed the development and prosperity of the rural areas in Taiwan, and learned that Taiwan had been able to avoid the rural decline in the process of modernization, because it benefited from their profound practice of community shaping This thesis attempts to explore the experience and wisdom of the Taiwanese, who share the same language and gene with us,in the community shaping process by analyzing specific cases in the process of the shaping of communities in Taiwan,so as to provide inspiration and reference for the rural construction in the mainland China. This thesis focuses on the autonomous cultivation in the practice of community shaping in the rural community of Taiwan. In the development of the rural regeneration program of Kanading Community in Taiwan, they promoted the active involvement of local people in community affairs through the construction of community identity and the cohesion of the common values, and realized rural regeneration on the basis of collaboration.Rural reshaping created not only the autonomy of local people's participation, but also triggered the subjectivity of "local voice",and improved active involvement of the local people in community affairs. The reason of the success of the Kanading Community's Rural Regeneration Program is that it created the autonomy of community residents based on civil rights in the process of community shaping, and enhanced participation in a double way of both "top-down" and "bottom-up"communication,and enhance the significance of localization with the initiative universal participation mechanism. The inspiration of the experience, which can be concluded from the practice of community shaping in the rural community of Taiwan province,to the construction of the mainland community lies in the actively cultivation of the autonomy of the residents of the rural community, the emphasis on the subjectivity of local residents in the participation of public affairs, the guarantee of the civil rights to play a boost to the local development, the recovery of local dignity with the rediscovery of rural heritage, and then the promotion of the generation of rural community autonomy.
