Research Of The Current Situation Of Grassroots Social Governance And The Corresponding Countermeasures

In recent years,with the acceleration of the aging population,China has entered an era of senior citizens out population the younger generations causing a drastic imbalance of wealth in the country.These rapidly increasing seniors,many now of retirement age,have also caused a rapid raise in the demands of our pension services.For this reason all the levels of government,from the central government down to the municipal governments,need to activity and vigorously promote increased pension services.To compound the situation the elderly population of the rural regions of China has always been higher than that of the cities,so their pension needs have become increasingly prominent.The rural regions also have a higher amount of special needs groups such as handicapped elderly or elderly suffering from Empty Nest Syndrome.This is further compounded by the fact such rural regions are often woefully underdeveloped mountainous areas with a weak economic foundation.As such the government's guidance and support efforts are not being fully met.There is a lack of social service organization,professional pension personal and a restriction on some pension services thereby causing the raising the needs of these elderly citizens to not be met in accordance to our Core Values.Faced with such serious problems and their lack of local economic foundations there comes a question of how the gap between the city services and the rural services can be lessened under a comprehensive system? How can the contradiction between the shortages of pension services to the growing elderly demands be met? The establishment of a more scientific and reasonable retirement and pension system is a major cause worthy of the Chinese government so all its citizens can share the fruits of reform and development from our building of a moderately prosperous society.It is an urgent cause in need of study and solutions.This article will deal with the significant research of under developed mountainous regions and their pension services.It will also summarize the results of both domestic and foreign pension services,make a comprehensive use of the hierarchy of needs,deal with the theory of elderly security,the theory of welfare pluralism and analyze the basic theory of pension services in these underdeveloped regions.Qingyuan County pension services will be used as an example with both in-depth analysis of the current rural pensions services,pension services that enhance the necessity and feasibility as well as put forward ideas on how to strengthen the rural elderly services in those regions.
