The Application Of Case Management In Community Correction

In recent years,social work is strongly supported by China's government,allowing community correction to rapidly develop.Based on research achievements related to community correction at home and abroad,each region has gradually established their own community correction model through taking into consideration their development conditions and current status.However,in terms of current status of community correction,the development is not so ideal.Many problems such as insufficient personnel allocation,laggard supporting facilities,and lack of core technologies affect the progress of pushing forward community correction work.This paper took the service process for Mr.Wang,the corrected object,as an example to analyze the specific application of individual case management method in the work practice of community correction.The study elaborated on how social workers carry out community correction works with the individual case management method and analyzed specific approaches and work models in individual management.And according to the process and effect of case management work to carry on the experience summary.According to the study,individual case management service is an effective method to help sentenced persons adapt to the society.It can help sentenced persons build relationship with social environment and guide them to construct their own resource network,through which they can meet the requirements of social environment,so as to adapt to the society.Introduction of individual case management into community correction not only can improve social workers' service ability and quality,but also can improve effective utilization of social resources.
