A Study On The Influence Of Professional Identity And Public Value Choice On Public Service Motivation

After the eighteen Congress of the Communist Party of China,"building a service-oriented government with satisfactory people" has been paid attention by the party and the government.How to establish an efficient and service-oriented government has also been widely discussed in the society.The "service-oriented government" is to serve the people,serve the public and serve the society.Today’s social situation is constantly changing,more complex than the previous planned economic era.This requires our government to have more professional,more responsible and more service oriented civil servants to face today’s complex and rapidly changing society.This research hopes to make an in-depth investigation on public service motivation of civil servants.Taking the civil servants of Z as an example,the data are obtained by questionnaire survey,and the empirical analysis of the data is carried out with SPSS22.0,and the following aspects are found mainly:1.the professional identity of civil servants has a significant positive correlation with public servants’ public value choice.That is,the more the civil servants organize internal identity,the higher the organization’s external identity and self identity,the better the choice of social fair value and the choice of the value of the citizen’s trust.2.the professional identity of civil servants has a significant positive correlation with the motivation of public service.That is,the more the civil servants organize internal identity,external identity and self identity in the work,the better their institutional motivation,guarantee motivation,motivation motivation,emotional motivation and self actualization motivation.3.the public value selection of civil servants has a significant positive correlation with public service motivation.That is,the higher the public service’ssocial fair value choice and the civil service citizen’s trust value,the better the institutional motivation,the guarantee motivation,the motivation motivation,the emotional motivation and the self actualization motivation.Above results,if we want to improve the motivation of public servants’ public service,we can start from the civil servants’ professional identity and public value choice.
