As early as twenty years ago,Western scholars began to discuss the motives of public services.Research on the concept,measurement,and influencing factors of public service motives has emerged in the western academic community;China began to study public from the beginning of this century.In terms of service motivation,scholar Li Xiaohua first mentioned public service motives in his published articles.In the field of public human resource management,an upsurge of research on public service motives has been triggered.Some scholars have joined the study of this issue,and related research results have mushroomed.There is a constant flow of resources,and related research questions also have answers to Chinese characteristics.However,different scholars have different research results on the relationship between public service motivation and job performance,and they are still at the stage of academic debate.In order to explore this issue,this paper conducted a survey of civil servants of six county-level governments in Gansu Province.First,they measured their public service motives,including four aspects: the attractiveness of public policy formulation,the public interest commitment,compassion,and self-sacrifice.Then they measured their job performance,including task performance,interpersonal promotion,and work dedication.At the same time,this paper also assumes that the individual-organization match has an intermediate effect between the two.The statistical software used in this paper is SPSS19.0.It analyzes a series of data obtained from the questionnaire,including simple descriptive analysis and further regression analysis.The results of empirical analysis verify the relationship between public service motivation and job performance.relationship.The empirical results of this paper show that public service motives of public servants have a significant positive effect on their task performance,work dedication,and interpersonal promotion;public service motives also have a significant positive effect on the personal-organization match between civil servants and governmental organizations.Impact;The civil-government organization'sindividual-organizational match has a significant positive impact on its work dedication and interpersonal promotion,with no significant impact on task performance;individual-organization match in public service motivation and work dedication Intermediary functions play a part,and they also have partial mediating effects between public service motivation and interpersonal promotion.There is no mediating effect between public service motivation and task performance.This article is divided into six chapters.The first chapter is the introduction.It introduces the research background and significance,the research content,research methods,research ideas and possible innovations of the research.The second chapter is the literature review and theoretical basis,and summarizes the public Service motivation,job performance,and individual-organization matching and other relevant literature,and elaborated on the two theoretical basis of this article;the third chapter is the research design and hypothesis proposed;the fourth chapter is empirical analysis,respectively from descriptive statistics,correlation The analysis and regression analysis are carried out in three aspects.The fifth chapter is based on the empirical evidence of the fourth chapter and puts forward the policy recommendations on the human resources management of the public sector and the reform of the personnel system of the cadres.The sixth chapter is the outlook and deficiencies of the article.
