Contextualization And Autonomy: A Study Of Citizen Participation In Urban Community Governance

In recent years,with the continuous development of our country's economy and society,the form and content of urban community governance have changed greatly,and the participation of residents is playing an increasingly important role in the process of community autonomy.At the same time,it is also an important driving force to promote the development of community.The administrative participation and fragmentation of community participation is a realistic problem for urban community governance in China.The lack of consciousness,initiative and enthusiasm of urban residents is one of the main reasons that affect community participation.The current situation of insufficient participation of urban community residents affects and restricts the performance of community governance in varying degrees.How to construct the urban community participation mode in the new era is a realistic problem to be solved urgently.Discourse theory provides another perspective for analyzing the participation mode of residents in current community governance.This paper,taking the theory of political participation as the foundation of research,takes the discourse theory as the analysis angle,and focuses on two aspects of the relevance of public interest and the Structurization of public issues,discusses the mode of urban community dialogue and the citizen participation mechanism in our country,and aims to explore the mode of citizen participation in urban community governance in the new period.The study found that the current civic participation in urban communities can be divided into four types: symbolic participation,spontaneous participation,guided participation and autonomous participation.This paper puts forward that we should realize the dialogue of some people,cultivate the public sense of public responsibility and the spirit of self-participation,and let the citizens who have the ability to participate and participate in the community governance,through the substantive and situational community development dialogue,the proposal of the community public problems and the community public decision-making and the reality.It has important influence to improve the efficiency of urban community governance.
