With the continuous development of the social economy,the living standard of the people has been increasing,and the medical and health conditions have gradually improved.The age structure of the population in our country has also undergone changes.The accelerated aging of the population has led to the emergence of more and more elderly people living alone.Individuals living alone are often inconvenienced due to degeneration of their physical functions,age,and other factors.They have less contact with the outside world,reduce their chances of communicating with others,and are unable to resolve their feelings.When emotional needs are not met for a long time,they experience low self-esteem,loneliness and depression.Such negative emotions can confuse the lives of elderly people living alone and affect the quality of life in old age.Therefore,it is necessary to pay attention to the spiritual comfort of this group.This article investigates the visits to elderly people living alone in community A in Xi'an.It is found that these elderly people living alone are generally relatively single-minded and have a strong desire to communicate with others.I hope someone can pay attention to the difficulties they face.These old people don't carry their loved ones,lack the companionship of their children,and support their relatives and friends.In addition,often living alone does not go out,the community is less concerned about its degree.Lack of channels and ways to obtain spiritual comfort.In this article,through the intervention of two elderly people living alone,and their analysis of their spiritual comfort and social support,they find that their mental comfort is a predicament,affecting the causes of spiritual comfort for the elderly,and fully tapping the potential and advantages of the case.Together find ways and means of spiritual comfort.Establish a formal and informal social support network for linking resources to ensure that they have a better life vision in their later years.
