With the acceleration of the aging trend,the pension issue becomes increasingly important.Due to the insufficient public service facilities and the lack of supporting pension system,the rural pension problem is more serious than urban area.The willingness of housing inclination for the old age is an important issue pension problem for the old age all the time,which affects the choice of maintenance mode and the welfare of the elderly.Due to different congenital experiences and life experiences,different people from different backgrounds may have different cognition on the willingness of housing inclination for the aged.Based on the above research background and the basis of literature review and theoretical analysis,this paper examines the rural residents of the will of the status quo by using the 2013 China Health and Retirement Survey Data(CHARLS 2013),meanwhile using disordered multiple logit regression and binary discrete regression methods to analyze influencing factors of housing inclination of rural residents for the aged from the five parts of individual characteristics,body function,family structure,family economic endowment and intergenerational differences under two circumstances of two different series of assumption with having spouse or no spouse.In addition,the existing intergenerational differences by Oaxaca-Blinder composition were further tested.The results showed that.Firstly,housing inclination of rural residents for the aged present diversified characteristics nowadays,but mode of living with children remains dominant compared with other three mode such as living with children but different village,living without children and different village and nursing home.Secondly,housing inclination of rural residents for the aged will be affected by individual characteristics,body function,family structure,family endowment and intergenerational differences,besides the influence of these factors react differently under circumstance that with spouse and without spouse.Thirdly,family cohesion(total population in the family and home frequency)will react positively significant to personal choice of living with children,and multiple-children families may share financial responsibility by living with children but different village.Fourthly,result of logit regression shows that there lies difference in housing inclination of rural residents for the aged among the crowd of different births.Results of Oaxaca-Blinder decomposition give a further analysis of reasons for intergenerational differences,and found that series of older age is more willing to choose living with children than series of elderly age.Meanwhile,home frequency and family population are in the contribution of the highest to intergenerational difference.Thereby,proposed policy suggestions include as follow.Innovating feeding mechanism and have full consideration of the living wills of different age groups.Ensuring basic old-age investment and ensures the life needs of the vulnerable elderly.Strengthening the propaganda of the family precepts and cohesion of family members.Improving home-based care and realizing the digitization and specialization of old-age services.
