OBJECTIVE:Collect data of the aged in a community in a city through questionnaires and interview community aged care service personnel,study the satisfaction of the elderly care service in the city and the factors influencing the demand for the aged care services,analysis the existence and legal issues of community aged care services in the city,and provide suggestions and countermeasures for the city to better carry out community aged care services.METHODS:Convenient sampling method to collect data from 487 elderly people aged over 60 in five urban areas of a city.Descriptive statistics analysis methods were used to describe and analyze the basic variables.The Rank sum test was used to understand the current situation of elderly care satisfaction in the community,using logistic regression to analyze the factors affecting demand for community aged services in the city.RESULTS:The Rank sum test was used to analyze the factors affecting the satisfaction of the elderly in the community.The results showed statistical significance between education level,occupation,relationship with children,and living conditions and results(P<0.05).Logistic regression analysis was used to analyze the influencing factors of the community's aged care service demand in the city,and the influence factors of medical service category demand,spiritual comfort category demand,life care needs category and legal aid category demand were studied.The results show:Marital status,education level,the number of children,and health status have an impact on the demand for medical services for the elderly.Unmarried or widowed old people have higher demand for medical services than married and spouses.Old people with poor health have higher demand for medical services.Well-being elderly people;those with a high level of education have a higher demand for medical services;those with a large number of children are more in need of medical services than those with a small number of children.The occupations before retiring and the number of children have an impact on the demand for life care services for the elderly;free-care elderly people need more care for life care services than the elderly employees of the company's employees;the more number of children,the less the need for life-care services.Gender,marital status,residency,and relationships with children have an impact on the elderly's choice of spiritual comfort services;women need spiritual comfort services more than men;unmarried or widowed old people have higher demand for spiritual comfort than married and spouses living;alone or the elderly in foster care homes have a higher demand for mental comfort services;old people who have a good relationship with their children have a strong demand for spiritual comfort services.Whether there are chronic diseases or not and educational levels have an impact on the demand for legal aid for the elderly.Elderly people without chronic diseases have a lower demand for legal aid services;the higher education level,the higher the demand for legal aid services for the elderly.CONCLUSION:1.Home-based care is still the most important way to support the elderly.2.Most of the elderly are not so satisfied with the current community care service in the city,but many elderly people are very much looking forward to the community pension service,and think that the community pension is the best way of providing aged care.3.The community should increase its investment in categories of medical services and life care.4.Problems existing in community-based care services for the elderly: The number of old-age care services is difficult to meet the needs of the elderly;Community infrastructure is not perfect;The qualifications of community service personnel are low;The law stipulates the lack of community-based pension contracts;The relevant departments are ineffective in supervision;Community-based care dispute resolution The mechanism is not perfect.5.Put forward corresponding countermeasures: the government increases capital investment,provides diversified old-age care services,establishes training mechanism for old-age nursing personnel,promotes the professional construction of nursing workers,defines the main body of supervision and strengthens the supervision of institutions,and improves the legal security system for old-age care services.Promote the healthy development of the pension industry.
