Study On The Influence Of Population Aging On Consumption Structure In Henan Province

People are the subject of consumption,and population structure is an important factor that affect the consumption structure,besides,the change of population age structure will inevitably lead to the change of consumption structure.Changes in the structure of consumption caused by the acceleration of China's aging population have received considerable attention.Henan Province,the largest province of population in the country,due to its rapid population aging growth,the consumption structure of Henan Province has changed dramatically.Under the background of rapid aging in Henan Province,the analysis of the impact of population aging on consumption structure in Henan province,it can specify corresponding policies for Henan province and even the whole country to reduce the impact of population aging on the change of consumption structure through the study on the influence of population aging on consumption structure in Henan province.First of all,according to Henan Province Statistical Yearbook data from 2006 to2016 and the actual situation in Henan Province,and based on the existing researches,the paper analyzes the impact of population aging in Henan on the consumption structure of residents.The study found that,with the increase of life expectancy of the elderly,the population of Henan province brings challenges and opportunities to social and economic development: first,the aging population is large in absolute scale and the growth rate relatively fast.,second,the dependency ratio of the elderly population is high and the social care burden is heavy.third,the disability elderly account for a large proportion and lack of long-term care.Influenced by the change of population structure in Henan province,compared with previous years,the consumption level of residents in Henan province has changed significantly,and its consumption structure has also changed.In general,with the changes in the age structure of people in Henan Province,the consumption of residents in residential consumption structure has risen sharply,and urban areas are faster than rural areas,spending on urban and rural transportation and communications has increased significantly,as the same time,the absolute amount of health care spending also increased.Then,this paper finds that different age structures have different demands on residents' consumption based on grey relational analysis.The influence of the change of consumption structure caused by the change of population structure in Henanprovince shows that: first,older people pay more attention to spending on health care,food and clothing,second,there are also great differences in the consumption demands of the elderly population in urban and rural areas,for example,the consumption of the elderly population in rural areas is generally lower than that in urban areas.Finally,the paper puts forward corresponding policies and improvement measures to promote reasonable consumption according to the characteristics of population aging in Henan province.Firstly,to improve social insurance system and enhance the protection of the elderly,it includes perfecting social security system,setting up a fair mechanism,making the rural residents and urban and rural residents to enjoy the national policy,so as to alleviate the widening gap caused by the changes of population age structure between urban and rural residents consumption level and consumption structure tilt the status quo;Secondly,actively exploring the elderly consumer market,and promoting the consumption in the elderly: it includes changing the old concept,regarding the elderly as the main driver of the economy and consumption of the elderly,regarding consumption of the elderly as a new element of economic growth,and improving the consumption capacity and consumption level of the elderly population;Thirdly,perfect endowment service system to satisfy the demands of the elderly,it includes accelerating reform of the household registration system,improving the social management system,addressing the housing and medical problems of migrant workers,and address their concerns,solving the problem such as housing,health care of migrant workers,and to solve their worries.
