Recently,most of the reports on student survivors,traffic accidents,sexual assaults,carbon monoxide poisoning,and suicides have been linked to rural left-behind children.It has attracted widespread attention from the government,media,and academia that the vicious events frequently occur in left-behind children.Reviewing the existing literature,we have combed out that the domestic and foreign scholars analyze the reasons from various angles for the frequent occurrence of security incidents in rural left-behind children groups.First,rural left-behind children is lack of self-protection awareness.Second,the parents' responsibility for school ideas are more prominent in the countryside.Third,school safety education is not in place.Fourth,rural community education is at the stage of government support.Fifth,the geographical environment in rural areas including mountains,rivers and lakes is extremely complicated.It can be seen that the safety of left-behind children in rural areas is affected by many factors,which provides solutions for the prevention of accidents by left-behind children.Scholars have done a great deal of research on the issue of the safety of left-behind children.However,finds that there are some gaps in the following areas.From the point of view of countermeasures,the importance of left-behind children themselves,guardians,and communities in solving the safety problems of left-behind children is ignored.In terms of intervention,most of them are in the advocacy stage,and there are few practical explorations.Regarding the practice of social work involved in the safety of left-behind children,most of them only use group work methods to conduct practical explorations.This helps left-behind children prevent the occurrence of safety accidents,but there are problems that intervention method for group work is unitary and service area is too narrow.Based on this,the author uses left-behind children and external environment(guardians,community workers)as dimensions to design an interview syllabus on the safety of left-behind children,use interview method to collect the requirements for left-behind children's safety education and analyze the influencing factors of theirs safety behavior.Through Bandura's analysis of the relationship between cognition,behavior and environment in the social cognitive theory,it is concluded that raising safety awareness is the key to preventing the occurrence of safety accidents in rural left-behind children.From left-behind children,guardians and communities,the model uses social cognitive theory on individual cognition and behavior change skills,uses professional methods of social work in light of the actual situation,to enhance safety awareness and meet the needs of the three parties.Combined with the specific situation of the implementation of the safety education model for left-behind children,the advantages,disadvantages,development opportunities,and practical problems of the model will be analyzed,and then proposes development countermeasures for disadvantages and practical problems,in the hope that this model will be used in the field of safety education for left-behind children.
