This study is about family education of rural left-behind children.In order to collect first-hand information and to figure out the current situation and problems of family education for left-behind children in S primary school,the author conducted a questionnaire survey on left-behind children in S primary school,and interviewed parents or guardians,class teachers,SW project volunteers and social workers of these children.Based on the perspective of Society Ecosystem Theory,this paper studies the causes of the family education problems of left-behind children in S primary school from the aspects of micro system,meso system and macro system.At the same time,taking SW project as an example,this paper summarizes the implementation process of social work to improve the family education status of left-behind children in S primary school through the use of case work,group work and community work.Based on the results of questionnaire survey and case interview,the author analyzed the current situation of family education for left-behind children in S primary school.The study found that the left-behind children in S primary school are facing concentrated and prominent problems in family education:lack of emotional companionship,lack of learning guidance resources,and one-sided family education.These problems are caused by the interweaving of micro systems(individuals),middle systems(families,schools)and macro systems(policies).The study also sorted out the implementation process of social work intervention to improve the family education of left-behind children in S primary school.It is found that social work has achieved certain results in solving the family education problems of left-behind children.Get emotional companionship and support;Enhanced learning motivation,good performance in daily learning;Home-school contact is close,home-school participation enhanced.At the end of the article,based on the concrete practice of social work intervention in family education of left-behind children in S primary school,the author summarized and reflected on SW project service from the aspects of the advantages and disadvantages of the intervention of social work on family education of left-behind children in S primary school of left-behind children.The study found that social work intervention in the family education of left-behind children in S primary school has its advantages.The intervention of social work basically met the interest development needs of left-behind children in S primary school,increased motivation and good performance in daily study,closed ties between home and school and enhanced participation of home and school,Get emotional companionship and support.In addition,there is still a lack of professionalism in SW project,and the content involved is one-sided.
