The Study On The Construction Of The Village Affair Supervison Committee On Xianxi Town In Yueqing City

Village-level democratic supervision plays an important role in the villagers'autonomy system.How to implement the democratic supervision directly affects the Election of village committee.With the continuous development of the society,and also with the improvement of villagers' living standards and power consciousness,they pay much more attention to their own legal interests in the village affairs.In 2004,the first village Supervision Committee of the whole country was founded in HouChen Village,Wuyi County,Zhejiang province,which was widely welcomed by its villagers and achieved good effect to the supervision of the village affairs.And then such form of organization was soon extended to the whole country.The establishment of villager's supervision committee has speeded up the grass-roots democracy process in China,and also promoted the development of clean government in rural areas,and strengthened the connection between local governments and the central government.Since 2010,and by the end of 2016,supervision committee had been set up in all 57 villages in Xianxi town,Yueqing,which played an important role in restraining corruption and unhealthy tendencies,and maintaining social stability and harmony in rural areas.Based on literature review,field investigation and comprehensive analysis,this paper comprehensively studies the construction,implementation effect and main problems of village supervision committee in XianXi town,and puts forward corresponding solutions to the problems,aiming at providing the theoretical basis for further improvement of the construction of Yueqing village affairs supervision committee.
