Research On The Current Situation And Influencing Factors Of Citizen's Nimby Complex

The issue of NIMBY and their governance are hot topics in domestic academic research in recent years.The existing literature mainly focuses on political science or management perspectives,and carries out qualitative analysis or case studies on the causes,evolution paths,and governance mechanisms of NIMBY,and less uses quantitative research methods to develop NIMBY.Empirical research,in particular,lacks the research results of conducting empirical research on Chinese citizens' NIMBY complexes and their influencing factors.This study takes Wenzhou as an example and conducts a questionnaire survey.SPSS.24 software was used to test the reliability and validity of the sample data,and a single factor analysis,independent sample T test,and multiple linear regression methods were used for statistical analysis of the data.The study shows that the level of NIMBY status of citizens against the establishment of NIMBY facilities is generally higher,and the intensity of citizens' NIMBY complex relationship is the distance between gender,level of education,proximity to NIMBY facilities,trust,participation of citizens,type of facilities.A function that combines the effects of variables such as state and economic compensation amounts.Therefore,the establishment of open project information,the absorption of citizens' site selection opinions,the provision of monetary compensation and in-kind compensation,and the strengthening of facilities image supervision and safety supervision should be conducive to alleviating citizens' estrangement and eliminating the predicament of setting up NIMBY facilities.
