The Study On The Influencing Factors Of Urban Community Governance Based On The Social Capital Theory

In the modern society,the community is an indispensable unit of a city.The level of community governance has a great impact on urban development.Therefore,it is necessary to explore the influencing factors of urban community governance.Related research shows that social capital has a positive effect on promoting urban community governance.Community governance cannot rely solely on government and market forces.It should also consider general trust and reciprocity norms.In recent years,the theory of social capital has gradually become the theoretical basis for increasing community participation enthusiasm and improving community governance performance.Therefore,based on the theory of social capital,this paper will use the Jinshan community in Xiamen(hereinafter referred to as J community)as the research object to explore the influencing factors and impact weights of the community governance effect.Based on the theories of social capital and social identity,this paper constructs a research model and puts forward research hypotheses.The model includes five elements:community trust,community norms,community network and community identity,and community governance effects.Then,the author prepared an e-questionnaire after passing the test.The random sample method was used to select the J community residents as the survey subjects to issue questionnaires,which totaled 18 measurement indicators.For the collected questionnaires,based on statistical software such as SPSS23.0 and AMOS23.0,the descriptive,reliability and validity of the questionnaire data,the construction of the structural equation model were analyzed,and a structural equation model for the effectiveness of J community governance was constructed.The results show that the community norms,community trust,community network,and community identity all have a significant positive effect on the governance effectiveness of the J community,and the impact weights are 0.249,0.214,0.193,and 0.161,respectively.Based on the actual situation of the current governance of J community and the empirical results of this paper,targeted policy recommendations are proposed from the four aspects of community norms,community trust,community networks,and community identity to improve the governance of the J community.
